Doctor Who posters – Two more new Doctor Who posters available

We are pleased to announce that we have a further two new Doctor Who poster designs to add to our range of Doctor Who posters.

The first of these new posters we call the Doctor Who & Amy Pond (Weeping Angels) poster. This Dr Who poster features Matt Smith as the eleventh incarnation of the time lord alongside his latest assistant Amy Pond, who is played by Karen Gillan. The Weeping Angels are also featured in this poster as is the Doctor’s iconic Tardis.

The second of our new Dr Who posters is in fact a door format poster and we refer to it simply as the Doctor Who Dalek door poster. In fact this door poster features one of the new generation of Daleks as seen in the latest series of the show. The new generation Dalek featured on this poster is red in colour and hovering, so no problem with stairs now! The poster also reads, All Hail The New Daleks.

As well as these two new poster designs we have a great range of other Doctor Who posters. We have more designs featuring both Matt Smith as The Doctor and Karen Gillan as Amy Pond and also posters featuring the Tardis as well as Cybermen and other monsters and aliens also featured in the show.

We have a couple of new All Time Low poster designs to add to our great range of All Time Low posters.

Of the two new posters, firstly we have the All Time Low (Black & White) poster. This poster features head shots of each of the band as well as the All Time Low band logo. All Time Low are vocalist and guitarist Alexander Gaskarth, lead guitarist Jack Barakat, bassist Zachary Merrick and drummer Rian Dawson and all feature on this black and white All Time Low poster.

The second new design is what we call the All Time Low (Monsters) poster. This poster has artwork featuring monsters and spaceships in a town by a river and with mountains in the background. This posters also has the familiar All Time Logo.

As well as these two new posters we also have more All Time Low posters available in our selection.

All Time Low are are a US pop-punk band from Baltimore and were formed in 2003. They have released three studio albums so far, 2005’s The Party Scene, 2007’s So Wrong, It’s Right and 2009’s Nothing Personal. All Time Low will release their fourth studio album, Dirty Work, this year.

The Wanted posters – Posters of The Wanted now available

We now have three posters of The Wanted available for sale. Each of these three The Wanted posters features all five members of the hit boy band.

The Wanted are a five piece boy band based in London. They were formed back in 2009 by mass auditions by the same people responsible for the formation of the all girl band The Saturdays. The Wanted are comprised of Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes.

Now let’s look at each of these The Wanted posters in turn and in no particular order. Firstly we have what we call The Wanted poster. This Wanted poster featues the band standing in t shirts or vests by a rail in front of a wall. Next we come to what we call The Wanted (Cover) poster, which features the cover artwork from the Wanted’s self titled debut album, which was released in October 2010 and reached no. 3 in the UK album charts. This poster features the band in the back of what looks like a people carrier. Lastly, but of course by no means leastly, we have what we call The Wanted (Band) poster. This poster features the guys walking down a street and is a horizontal format poster.

As already mentioned, The Wanted released their first album in October 2010 and have so far released three singles. The first single, All Time Low was released in August 2010 and reached no. 1 in the UK single charts. The Wanted are currently working on their second album.

New Sucker Punch film posters available for sale

We are pleased to announce that we have three Sucker Punch posters available for the forthcoming Zack Snyder film, Sucker Punch.

In no particular order we start with the Sucker Punch Girls poster. This poster features the main five characters in Sucker Punch. This Sucker Punch poster features the girls in the film, Sweet Pea, Baby Doll, Amber, Rocket and Blondie. In the movie Sweet Pea is played by Abbie Cornish, Baby Doll is played by Emily Browning , Amber is played by Jamie Chung, Rocket is played by Jena Malone and Blondie is played by Vanessa Hudgens, best known for her work in the High School Musical films.

Next up we have the Sucker Punch Baby Doll poster, which as you might imagine features Baby Doll, played by Emily Browning. In this poster the character is brandishing a pistol and a sword. Thirdly we have the Sucker Punch Sweet Pea poster, featuring Sweet Pea again tooled up.

Sucker Punch is a film about a young girl in the 1950s about to be lobotomized as she attempts to escape an asylum with her inmate friends. We at panicposters.com haven’t seen the film yet as it is not scheduled for release until late march, but we are guessing that it is going to be a heartfelt piece of post-feminist period style cinema portraying the struggle of wrongly institutionalised and victimised young ladies – or maybe not….

James posters – Some iconic James Sit Down posters available for sale

We were both shocked and delighted to come across some original James Sit Down posters lurking at the back of our store room the other day.

From the time of the Madchester scene, James were one of the key players and it is now pretty hard to come by any James posters for sale from that great era. This James Sit Down poster features the classic image from the single sleeve artwork and was published by the great Manchester based poster company, A Bigger Splash. This James poster was published back in 1991 in conjunction with the band and has been out of print for years and years. Obviously we only have very limited stocks of this James poster so hurry if you are looking to get one.

As well as this poster we also have another rare James Come Home poster title available for sale and also a few copies of the James Sit Down (Apollo 44 Remix) giant promo poster.

Smiths posters – Posters of The Smiths for sale

To kick off the new year we thought we would take a look at The Smiths posters we have for sale. It is quite hard to find good Smiths posters nowadays so we though it might be worth highlighting our selection.

Firstly let’s take a look at what we call our Smiths Paris 1984 poster. This poster sees The Smiths standing in a street in the Montmartre area of Paris in December 1984. Morrissey is wearing a hat and is joined by the other band members, Johnny Marr, Andy Rourke and Mike Joyce. The photo was taken by Paul Slattery.

Next, we have what we call our Smiths Glasto 84 poster. This Smiths poster sees the band photographed backstage at the Glastonbury Festival in 1984. Andy Rourke is practising playing his bass while the other members relax in their dressing room in this Paul Slattery photo.

Our site also features a Smiths Morrissey and Marr poster, but unfortunately this poster is currently both out of stock and out of print, so is not available.

The Smiths were formed in 1982 and have become one of Manchester’s most famous bands and reunions are occasionally rumoured, but so far Morrissey and Johnny Marr are yet to work together again. Coming after bands such as The Buzzcocks, Slaughter and The Dogs and later Joy Division, The Smiths were contemporaries of New Order and they lead into the Madchester era and bands like The Stone Roses and The Happy Mondays.

New Doctor Who posters – A Christmas Carol & Van Gogh

We have two great new Doctor Who posters to add to our Doctor Who poster selection.

Firstly we have a great Doctor Who A Christmas Carol poster. This poster features Matt Smith as the eleventh Doctor as well as Michael Gambon and Katherine Jenkins who co star in this year’s Christmas special Dr Who. As the name suggests this seasonal episode is a new spin on the traditional Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol story.

We also have a great poster design from the episode when Doctor Who met Vincent van Gogh. Van Gogh had premonitions of the future and this involved an exploding Tardis and this Doctor Who Van Gogh Exploding Tardis poster is a reproduction of the painting Van Gogh produced. Van Gogh painted this psychic message of the Tardis exploding in the 2010 series, which passed from Winston Churchill to Queen Elizabeth X, before reaching the Doctor via River Song.

Tattoo posters – Ed Hardy posters

Today we thought that we would highlight the range of Ed Hardy Tattoo posters that we have for sale.

Ed Hardy is one of the world’s most popular and iconic Tattoo artists. Ed Hardy was born in 1945 in Corona del Mar, Newport Beach, California and his style combines Japanese and American tattoo styles. Nowadays Ed Hardy’s designs are featured on a wide range of products, clothing, accessories, bags, posters, you name it. Obviously it is the Ed Hardy posters we are concentrating on here.

Probably our most popular Ed Hardy poster is the Ed Hardy Death Or Glory poster. This poster shows a skull design with a dagger going through it and Death Or Glory draped around it. Next up is the Ed Hardy Love Eternal poster. This poster is designed to look like a tattoo on flesh and again has a skull motif, this time with crossbones and a broken heart underneath it. Three playing card aces also appear behind the skull.

The Ed Hardy Love Kills Slowly poster is another popular design. Once again this poster is designed to look like a tattoo on flesh and again the popular skull and crossbones motif is used along with a heart and roses. The last Ed Hardy poster we will look at in detail here is the Ed Hardy Born To Raise Hell poster. This poster once again features a skull design along with four ace playing cards and a rat and spiders. In this poster the skull is smoking as well.

Lady Gaga posters – New Lady Gaga Telephone poster

We are delighted to be able to offer a new Lady Gaga poster design for sale. This Lady Gaga Telephone poster features a black and white photo of Lady Gaga. In this poster Lady Gaga is wearing a hat shaped like a telephone.

This poster relates to the song Telephone, which is the second single from Lady Gaga’s The Fame Monster extended play, released in 2010.

This new poster design adds to our range of Lady Gaga posters, which includes two Fame Monster poster designs and a poster design for The Fame. Lady Gaga’s first and so far only full studio album, The Fame, was released in 2008 and there have been a number of successful singles taken from it, most notably Poker Face, which reached number one and went platinum pretty much world wide. The Lady Gaga The Fame poster we have features Lady Gaga dressed in a skin tight black outfit.

The Fame Monster was released in 2009 and is an EP rather than a full album. The Fame Monster has eight tracks including the aforementioned Telephone. We have two Fame Monster posters, the Lady Gaga Fame Monster Cover poster, which as the name suggests features the main cover art of the mini album; and the Lady Gaga Fame Monster (Cap) poster, which features a black and white photo of Lady Gaga wearing only a leather cap.
